  • Hockey Tournament

Our annual hockey tournament took place in May, in which all classes from pre-school to Year 12 take part. Eight groups, each with four teams, played in the group stage for a place in the last sixteen. This year, twice as many teams took part. Strengthened by the parents' well-organised buffet and a free ice cream, the teams went on to the round of quarter-finals and semi-finals. In an exciting knockout round, two finalists emerged. In the final, Team Elephant and Team Horse played against each other. The game was exciting right up to the last minute and could not be decided in regulation time. The last game was won by a "Golden Goal" from Team Elefant. Many thanks to all the players, helpers and spectators!

  • Classtrip

Grade 6 classtrip to Plön was an unforgettable adventure full of fun and new experiences. The highlight of the trip was the sailing course, where the children learnt how to build and sail a dinghy on their own. They set to work with great zeal and enthusiasm and mastered the sailing test. The early risers got their fun at the morning swim at 6.00 am. Despite the early hour, the refreshing water made for a perfect start to the day. Together, the students eagerly watched Germany's match in this year's European Championships and cheered the team on loudly. This school trip will certainly be remembered by all participants for a long time to come.

  • Dialog G

As part of our school project "Dialog G", we are looking at the topic of "Turning enemies into friends" and exploring how we can turn enmity into friendship and promote peace. Peace does not only mean the absence of war, but also harmonious coexistence. To turn enemies into friends, it is important to talk to each other, understand each other and be prepared to come to an agreement. Our Classes of 8, 9 and 10th grade discuss with Dr Agata Klaus from the Deutsche Nationalstiftung, Dr Regina Heller from IFSH and Mercella Christiani from Zeitstiftung in order to find solutions together.
